About Us

Working towards
Our Goal
E-Station was created to contribute to the rapidly growing infrastructure and services associated with electric vehicle charging, with a focus on safety and opportunities for businesses to provide staff, customers and potentially members of the public with access to end of journey charging facilities.

Overcoming Limiting Factors
Barriers
One of the main limiting factors to EV uptake is the underdeveloped charging network here in New Zealand, especially on the South Island. Urban and rural environments provide both opportunities and challenges to ensuring safe and reliable charging infrastructure in accordance with electricity network capability, evolving legislation, standards that are either outdated or uncited in NZ law and the currently under-trained workforce.

Saving the Day
How We Help
Add technological advances that are accelerating due to massive global investment in tech areas for the reduction in emissions, and it can seem quite daunting for a business, fleet operator or organization to invest into.
At E-Station, our focus is on mitigating those risks for our customers with hardware solutions, maintenance programs and the application of charging station features to ensure safety, reliability and operability, and the ability to monetise and benefit from a maintained charging station.

“To be involved in something new and that is about to become so expansive, it's exciting and any
involvement I can have in that kind of work gets me up in the morning. I love learning and developing technical skill-sets, and take great pleasure applying and sharing that knowledge with whoever takes an interest.”
